Both the north and south transepts in the Cistercian Abbey of Abbeyknockmoy, County Galway, Ireland had two chapels. These images are of the northern chapels which are less preserved than the southern chapels; curiously the northern chapels have survived better in many of the Irish monasteries possibly because they were closer to the east range and reused in the post-dissolution period.
