Clay tablet letter from the King of Alashiya to the King of Egypt, dating to 1375 BC and from Amarna (WA E 29788). He is explaining to his 'brother' that the amount of Copper sent to Egypt is small because 'the hand of Nergal' (possibly a plague) has killed all of the copper workers. He is asking for 'great quantities' of silver and sweet oil and a diviner. Its not exactly sure where Alashiya was but it is possible that it is Enkomi on Cyprus.
