Memorial gravestone for Lieutenant Colonel James Stewart of the 42nd Regiment of Foot (d. 9th Aug 1819). He was promoted to Lieutenant-Colonel in 1796 and commanded at Alexandria 1801 and was wounded at Aboukir before retiring in 1804. Cistercian Abbey at Sweetheart, Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland.
