Travertine (alabaster calcite) lotus chalice, restored Inscribed with the names of pharaoh Amenhotep III, and a
dedication to Hathor, Mistress of Turquoise. The horizontal line of hieroglyphs
at the bottom record that the chalices were offered by the treasury scribe Panehesy, who led a mining expedition to Sinai in year 36 of Amenhotep's reign.
