Limestone relief from Khnum-Hotep's tomb in Saqqara. From the 5th Dynasty, c.2400 BC. The relief show Khnum-Hotep sitting before an offering table, which is heavily loaded with bread. Much of the offering formula is missing but, from the remaining text, it does follow the standard of most other tombs. The piece does not seem to be totally finished and there are still traces of the red 'draftsman' lines on the top of the relief.
