Egyptian Blue bottle with a openwork shell from the 21st or 22nd Dynasty.

Egyptian Blue  is made using a copper-calcium tetra silicate that the ancient Egyptians pulverized and mixed into a paste. It was used to fashion objects and then fired at a low temperature, usually smaller than this excellent piece (which is made of several parts). The rim and base are shaped like a Lotus (birth and rebirth) and the shell is adorned with images of deities.
