Ostrica from Sheikh Abd el Qurna used by draftsmen for preliminary and test drawings. These limestone flakes were found in the chip dump below Senenmut's tomb chapel (SAE 71) where they had been thrown in antiquity. The drawing of a bull's heads was intended to be reproduced on a tomb wall.
