Limestone statue of Se-Hetep-Ib-Re was found during the Metropolitan Museum of Art's excavation at the Lisht South Pyramid and dating to the 12th Dynasty, possible the reign of Senusret I or more likely Senusret III.

The statue is a good example of the period's private funerary statues. The face is idealized with a false beard and is represented as eternally young, his muscles are strong and he has a fine physique. The wig and kilt are highly detailed and he has an air of calm confidence.
