Ancient British Bucket urn from the Rimbusy urn-field at Preston, Dorset. This was a cremation cemetery, flat like a modern graveyard with contained nearly 100 bucket, barrel, and globular urns covered with stone slabs. Many urns were broken by workmen in the 19th century who used them for stone throwing targets to pass time during their lunch.
